@Colberrt and 6'8 is. Its a center not saying it cant be short but dont boost the stats across the board and u can almost max out everything. Make a true center if you go high on a couple stats everything else gets destroyed

I use small to big centers every year and nothing beat 7.3 . Don't even got to max out my stats cause I'm tall

That could work, but with this build being 6’8 the main reason I went with 99 was to make sure I could snag over 7ft bigs cause clearly they got plenty of height on you. You could take down steal some if you needed as well or even perimeter

I feel like if ur going to go with a 6’8 big man anything below a 99 defensive rebound won’t work as well and ur gonna get snagged over by taller centera

That is perfectly fine as well, as long as you are getting that hof rebound chaser you are gonna be good and yes that 82 is perfectly fine or it has been for me at least you get gold anchor and a high block too.

Not to mention the interior layups are brutally terrible as well lol. You breathe on them and they miss the layup

Wait till the patch come in and everyone will cry to have 82 interior defense only

Lmk what you find out man. I've been waiting for 2 weeks sitting on 3 to 4 diff builds. Two 6"9's & two 6"10's. I really want the bigman contacts but a few of the homies made 6"10s & there trash. Can't get off ground to dunk. But those 6"9 & 6"8 builds I've seen get them all the time with no effort... but again. They dnt get standing contact dunks... or bigman dunks.. so lmk what you do. If you do sum
I've seen them short 6"6 mfs get standing dunks like crazy.. it's like 2k rewards short dunkers since they can't get the packages??? But like why shud I have to choose between dope ass contacts with a sluggish build or an insane athletic freak with mid dunks....

⁠@@Gdonnaldif u want a build that can get standing dunks and driving dunk it would probably be a 6’8 cuz they can get both 90+ standing dunk and 90+ driving dunk if u really want it plus they can also get 80+ speed

@@GdonnaldI have a 6’8 center with 92 standing dunk and I can get a good amount just make sure u have a higher vertical like 85 to 90 if u go 6’8

@JDMCSWAGG thanks for the reply. Yeah I've made a couple versions (two 6"8's & two 6"10's) the shorter ones deff have better stats & badges. But the 6"10s are the ones with the bigman contacts dunks. In a pick & roll situation I'm jw what one would be better. The 6"10 cause it has contacts it will dunk on people easier? Or would the shorter versions be better to dunk over people since it's more athletic. 🤔 been waiting for 2 weeks trynna decide haha. I see the littler builds standing dunk np. So im leaning that way but scared ill regret it if I can't dunk on someone under the rim cause the animations won't trigger

@@Gdonnald it honestly depends on if u would rather a slower but taller 6’10 of a 6’8 and is faster and can do more things. But 6’8s centers are really good this year

I’ve only played rec with the build and I got my defensive badges extremely fast. You just wanna snag as many boards as possible and protect the paint

you can honestly take it all the way down if you want, you’ll mainly be guarding bigs anyway unless you switch or you can put it down just enough to get like a 80 or 90 free throw. Either way it won’t be a big difference

I’d go with wemby, it’s more fun, can shoot and spread out the floor, it is weaker on the boards but I still normally have anywhere from 15-25 rebounds a game. Either one is good but I have way more fun on the wemby build

I put the pass acc way down to a 68 and gave the rest to defense

What you were seeing was a driving contact animation it just kinda gave it to me while standing, it don’t happen often. Most of the time it’ll be driving contacts you get

@@Callmewavey I see that makes sense cheers for clarifying that I'm curious how that interior actually goes though because I had a 7ft with like bear minimum needed for gold anchor and I encountered a 7ft3 postscorer like I was doing everything jumping trying hands up and nothing was working like I was still getting contests everytime like high 20s to like 40 and he just kept greening the closeshots and layups so I don't think you're 6"8 would be able to deal with those situations but every other situations I can see your build working you should do more rec videos of you with that build

That’s why you set screens for your guard, any decent guard is gonna get open with screens then hit you on the slip when the center helps

@@SYROX.999 depends on the playstyle, if you like shooting 3’s more then 100%. Me personally I like shooting more I only made this build for rep in rec

You can use the dunk meter by going up then down on the right stick for contacts but if you are wide open 90% of the time I pull back on right stick

I was looking at 6’10. Way less stats. Driving dunk, steal, speed, accel, drive lay. All way lower. Yea you are taller and can get big contacts but not worth it. Unless you don’t care for a 75 drive dunk and 40 steal than it’s worth it.

I went 7 ft 89 driving 92 standing 84 post , sure your slow but if your mainly playing rec you body people

Yea way less stats for extra height, me personally I didn’t care about standing contacts but you can make good taller builds that get em as well

@@CallmewaveyI mean that’s not necessarily true, the build is an inside at the end of the day so on a 6’10 I can get every stat you have (besides the 91 Steal), then still get the big man contacts. Plus 6’10 is better height for a Center in 5s than 6’8, that’s just me🤷🏾‍♂️

@@codyauth3865 even on the driving dunk meter it has an extremely small green window unless wide open, I was on my build with 96 driving dunk trying to dunk on a 6’2 and I was struggling with meter.

Just whatever one it gives u to start, no body type on next gen unless you get in the Gatorade facility

I’ve played over 10-15 games, most against 7 footers. Won the board count every single. I thought it might be a problem too when I made it but I wouldn’t give y’all a build I haven’t tried plenty myself

@@jossuelrodriguez8505 the build does exactly what it needs to do, it’s almost perfect how it is but I will say if you wanna shoot you can take down the standing dunk to like a 75, and take driving dunk down to like a 65-75 and try to get some shooting up and just play around with it. But if you are strictly wanting an inside this build is almost perfect imo
