    Man, You,ve got the brains to imagine things and the skills to create what you’ve designed.
    I’m in pure admiration of how brillant and accomplished you are.
    And cherry on the top you’ve got the will to share your knowledge which by the way also requires some skills since you’re not just filming a shot and share it, there’s editing, montage and so on.
    My only wish would be that the captions in the video would be in english. Even if parlo un po' di italiano ma non abbastanza bene per capire i termini tecnici.
    Congratulazioni a lei, signore.

    I love this video. For those who don't get it (Mainly my Fellow Americans), not everyone has access to all the cool gadgets we have. These are simple and labor intensive items yes, but if you use them for inspiration for other projects then everyone can benefit from this video. Thank you Daniele, I build and work with some pretty sophisticated robotics on a daily basis, but I always look forward to your videos because they inspire me. Keep up the good work.

      What do you know about Americans? That is a small minded comment. Sure plenty of Americans don't get it; nor do they want to. However, you have a chance to become someone who can in the USA, which cannot be said about most other places in this corrupt world. I do love the video and the brilliance of this individual, just not your asinine and ungrateful comment. I'm sure your commie professors are proud of your disdain and the tax dollars that went into your arrogantly obtained education. Cheers!

    I have not made it past the first one with the PC fan vibrator. It is genius! I love it. there's a lot of maker videos like this and I like 'em all, well... most of 'em... but this one happened to solve a problem that I have been thinking about lately. I was going to use an AC motor and a magnetic stirring rod, but I do much prefer working with DC current. And now I won't have any broken stirring bars to worry about.
    Had to start from the beginning so I can take proper notes and make personal project alterations.

    Good work. But some suggestions. On your fume extractor, put the filter on the outside instead of inside. Then it will be easier to change when it gets dirty and it will help keep the fan clean. The fans that are used for vibration need to be the ball bearing type. If they use bronze bushings, they will wear quite quickly.

  • @baladar1353
    @baladar1353 5 лет назад +4

    "Planned obsolescence" means cheap machines and household items are designed to fail after time. Small fans like these are designed to move very small amount of air, for a limited time. Their bushings usually fail after after one or two years under ideal circumstances. What you have done with those fans can be considered anything but normal use, so if you put a bolt into one blade of a fan, it becomes unbalanced - therefore its bushing wearsh down quickly. An hour of unbalanced working to a small fan can be lethal to it. This is why people don't make anything out of them. Even an industrial fan can fail under harsh circumstances. Machines with unbalanced rotation on their shafts are made with bearings designed for unbalanced rotation. Keep this in mind when you try to impress uneducated naive people.

      Tho these fans can still work after a lot of years of everyday use. I have quite a collection of PCs, and one of them is from 2002, with original parts, from the CPU to the fans. It has been used everyday, many, many hours for ~10 years. Fans still work normally.

    È fantastico!! Per fare qualsiasi invenzione di quelli mostrati qui, è "solo" necessario avere un laboratorio dotato di: trapano a colonna, saldatore e stagno, trapano a mano con molti accessori, seghetto alternativo e un vasto assortimento di materiali come viti, dadi... Ah!, i circuiti arduino e beh, ovviamente un ventilatore per PC. Questo senza contare le ore di lavoro, la spesa per l'elettricità e altri servizi.

We've been salvaging old tools and making some of our own, but have a plasma cutter and tall drill press. We've also got a pile of salvaged parts like fans, so loving this video! @@mattstegall Danielle has some pretty sweet tools, to be sure, but a lot of what he uses is fairly basic shop stuff. At least he doesn't pretend everyone has a $5K 3D printer or the money to buy a shedload of parts to make this "cheap" project. Too many builders on here take a lot for granted and it can be very irritating indeed. It's like "Hey look at me, don't you feel poor!"
